She stood in silence begging the audience to hear her true voice. Overlooking the world from the stage beaming under the lights her emotions resonating throughout the room. He resided backstage hoping for word of her failure. He made her see how lonesome the stage had become. Hardly aware of the awaiting crowd, She ran off as He took the stage. She escaped her life, yet her soul remained anchored on that very stage. He found Her some time later, bringing with him fame and wealth. He lifted her into his arms wiped her tears and made amends for the trouble He had enacted upon Her.

A pool of water untouched, untainted. Reflected upon the sheets of glass were the evident wisps of ever-whirling clouds and twinkles of ever-distant stars.
